Questions
- What's the longest clip I can convert?
- This tool samples up to 60 frames from your clip, so very long videos get downsampled rather than rejected — for a smooth result, clips under 10 seconds work best.
- Will the GIF have sound?
- No — GIF doesn't support audio at all, so the audio track is simply not included.
- Why is my GIF file so much bigger than the source video?
- GIF's compression is much less efficient than modern video codecs. Try the Quality/Resize controls, or switch to WebP for a smaller file at similar quality.
