These operational terms describe the product as shipped. They are not a substitute for independent legal review. By using Framimo you agree to them.
What Framimo is
Framimo is a web app for converting and editing video or images into GIF, animated WebP, animated AVIF, or MP4. Most work runs in your browser. An optional server path exists only when you explicitly opt in.
Accounts
You are responsible for the email and password you register. Do not share your account. We may disable an account that is used to abuse the API (credential stuffing, flooding job creation, or similar).
Acceptable use
You may not use Framimo to:
- process content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service beyond ordinary use;
- circumvent rate limits, entitlements, or the local-vs-server consent step.
Plans
The free tier includes the core local converter with documented limits (batch size, optimizer iterations) and may show reserved ad space away from the editor. Pro removes ads and raises those limits. Entitlements are server-authoritative: they survive refresh and are reconciled from Stripe webhooks. See Refunds & cancellation.
No silent uploads
Dropping a file into the editor does not send it to our servers. Server processing requires an explicit confirmation. Declining that offer never breaks the rest of the app.
Availability and formats
Local MP4 depends on WebCodecs in your browser. Animated AVIF currently has no browser encoder; we will not silently switch your chosen format to a different one. If a path is unavailable we say so.
Limitation of liability
Framimo is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost files that never left your device, or for output that does not match a particular downstream platform’s undocumented limits. Always preview estimated size before you commit — the product is built around that step.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the source of truth. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
